Centenary Events:

Sunday 2nd November:

Italian Theme Lunch
An Italian Themed Lunch, the last of three themed lunches planned by the Youth Group/Bible Class/Juniors to celebrate our centenary year, will be served in the Old Hall immediately after morning service.
Tickets: Adults £3.00, Child/Student £1.50 are available from the Church Office.

Saturday 22nd November:

Caper Ceilidh to be held in the New hall for all age groups
A social evening to suit all age groups.
Venue: The New Hall
Time: TBA
Tickets: Adults £5.00, Children & Students in full time education £2.50.

Sunday 7th December:

Re-dedication Service / Congregational Lunch
Venue: Parkstone Hotel
Time: 12.45pm
Estimated cost per ticket: £20.00

Sunday@Seven:

Series 5: Theme: Consequences
The new series of Sunday@Seven this winter complements the main thrust of the Sunday ministry by looking more closely at the consequences of believing as exemplified in situations or in the lives of characters in the Bible.
Sunday: 21 September: The offering of ‘firstfruits’; Deuteronomy 26
Sunday 19th October: Peter and Cornelius; Acts 10 and 11
Sunday 16th. November: Ruth ; Book of Ruth
Sunday 21 December: Simeon, Anna and Mary; Luke 1 and 2

Intimations:

If you wish to have an intimation added to the Order of Service, please contact the office, or e-mail to office@stnicholasprestwick.org.uk All intimations should be submitted by the Friday prior to the Sunday you wish the intimation to be announced.

Newsletter:

If you wish to add an article or notice to the Church newsletter, please send an e-mail to newsletter@stnicholasprestwick.org.uk All articles must be submitted by the 20th of the month.

General Information:

Hospital Transport:

Members of the Congregation requiring help in visiting local hospitals can contact Mr. A. Johnston (477172), or Miss M. McIntosh (470161) who will make the necessary arrangements.

Gift Aid Scheme:

Members of the Congregation who give offerings or donations to the church, and pay income tax, can join the Gift Aid Scheme by signing a ‘Gift Aid Declaration’ and the tax can then be reclaimed on the amount given.

Any donations that have been made since 6th April 2001, and all donations made from the date of signing are eligible for reclaim of tax.
Methods of payment are by cheque, standing order, or cash given to Mr. Bill Jackson, Kirk Treasurer or Mr. Stanley Smart, Gift Aid Scheme Administrator.

Members of the congregation who give through the weekly offering envelope, and who pay tax, also qualify to join the scheme. All donations must be traceable, so money given in the open plate would not be eligible.
